Hoshizaki SRK-20J remote condenser unit for KMS-2000MLJ icemaker

Product Description

The Hoshizaki SRK-20J is the largest remote condenser in the SRK range, built to serve the KMS-2000MLJ remote-cooled crescent cuber. At 62 inches wide and 345 lbs with a 26 lb refrigerant charge, it is sized for the top of Hoshizaki's Serenity Series output.

Sized for the Largest Head

Condenser capacity has to track the icemaker it serves. The SRK-20J carries roughly 70 percent more refrigerant than the SRK-12J and SRK-15J units that serve smaller heads, and its cabinet is correspondingly larger. It is specified for the KMS-2000MLJ and should not be substituted onto a different head.

Single Phase or Three Phase

This is the 208-230V single-phase unit. The SRK-20J3 is the three-phase equivalent, matched to the KMS-2000MLJ-3. Confirm the icemaker variant and the site supply before ordering, as the two are not interchangeable.

Siting and Line Runs

The cabinet is weather-resistant for outdoor mounting, and Hoshizaki calls for 24 inches of clearance front and rear so the coil can breathe. Line kits are sold separately and support installation distances up to 55 feet, which is the practical constraint on where the condenser can be placed relative to the head. Power is hardwired on site, four wire including ground.
