What is your Return Policy?

At Supplyza, we want every customer to shop with confidence. Here is exactly how returns work.

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. We are unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Arranges the Return, and Who Pays

We arrange every return. Contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization and we will email you a prepaid parcel label, or — for large equipment that shipped by LTL freight — book the pickup and send you a Bill of Lading. Please do not book your own carrier or buy your own postage; we cannot reimburse shipping we did not book.
Damaged, defective, or the wrong item: we pay the return shipping in full, parcel or freight. No restocking fee.
Changed your mind: the actual return shipping cost is deducted from your refund, along with the 25% restocking fee. We quote that cost to you in writing when we issue your RMA, before anything is booked, and you can cancel the return at no cost up to that point.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We will arrange and pay for the return, and once the item is back and inspected we will issue either a full refund or a replacement, including any original shipping costs.

4. Freight Deliveries — Inspect Before You Sign

Large equipment is delivered by appointment and you will be asked to sign for it. Note any visible damage or shortage on the driver's delivery receipt before you sign it, photograph the crate and the item, and contact us within 1 business day. Damage you only discover after uncrating must be reported within 5 business days of delivery, because freight carriers set their own concealed-damage claim deadlines. Please call us at +1-877-731-7972 before refusing a shipment — in most cases we can resolve it faster if you accept the delivery with the damage noted.

5. Changed Your Mind?

You can return the item within 30 days as long as it is unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. Freight items must go back on their original pallet or in their original crate with the bracing reinstalled. Equipment that has been installed, plumbed, wired, or put into service cannot be returned. We refund the product cost minus the 25% restocking fee and the return shipping cost.

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we will send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process it. If it has been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still do not see it, contact us at support@supplyza.com and we will look into it immediately.

7. Restocking Fees

Change-of-mind returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. There is no restocking fee (0%) for defective, damaged, or incorrect items, and we cover the return shipping on those.

Product Description

The Hoshizaki KMS-822MLJ is a Serenity Series remote-cooled crescent cuber that makes up to 851 pounds of ice per 24 hours from a cabinet only 22 inches wide. It is a modular head; the SRK remote condensing unit and a storage bin or dispenser are ordered separately.

851 Pounds From a 22-Inch Footprint

Capacity per inch of floor space is the whole point of this machine. Most heads producing over 800 pounds a day are 30 inches wide; the KMS-822MLJ does it in 22. That difference decides whether an icemaker fits an existing alcove, a narrow service corridor, or a bar back that cannot be rebuilt. It is also light for its output at 145 pounds shipping, which simplifies getting it into place.

Serenity Series and Remote Cooling

The Serenity design pairs the head with an outdoor SRK remote condenser, and the two things that make an icemaker unpleasant to stand next to — condenser fan noise and rejected heat — both leave the building with it. That is what makes this line viable for front-of-house placement, hotel guest floors, and healthcare units where a conventional air-cooled head would be intrusive. The head's own control power is fed from the 230V remote condenser rather than a separate 115V circuit, which reduces the electrical rough-in to a single connection.

Ice and Operating Numbers

Output is Hoshizaki's crescent cube: hard, dense, slow-melting, and it does not bridge in the bin. Consumption runs 5.3 kWh and 21 gallons of potable water per 100 pounds of ice at 90°F/70°F. The very small onboard refrigerant charge of 7.1 ounces reflects the split-system design — the bulk of the circuit lives in the remote condensing unit.
