What is your Return Policy?

At Supplyza, we want every customer to shop with confidence. Here is exactly how returns work.

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. We are unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Arranges the Return, and Who Pays

We arrange every return. Contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization and we will email you a prepaid parcel label, or — for large equipment that shipped by LTL freight — book the pickup and send you a Bill of Lading. Please do not book your own carrier or buy your own postage; we cannot reimburse shipping we did not book.
Damaged, defective, or the wrong item: we pay the return shipping in full, parcel or freight. No restocking fee.
Changed your mind: the actual return shipping cost is deducted from your refund, along with the 25% restocking fee. We quote that cost to you in writing when we issue your RMA, before anything is booked, and you can cancel the return at no cost up to that point.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We will arrange and pay for the return, and once the item is back and inspected we will issue either a full refund or a replacement, including any original shipping costs.

4. Freight Deliveries — Inspect Before You Sign

Large equipment is delivered by appointment and you will be asked to sign for it. Note any visible damage or shortage on the driver's delivery receipt before you sign it, photograph the crate and the item, and contact us within 1 business day. Damage you only discover after uncrating must be reported within 5 business days of delivery, because freight carriers set their own concealed-damage claim deadlines. Please call us at +1-877-731-7972 before refusing a shipment — in most cases we can resolve it faster if you accept the delivery with the damage noted.

5. Changed Your Mind?

You can return the item within 30 days as long as it is unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. Freight items must go back on their original pallet or in their original crate with the bracing reinstalled. Equipment that has been installed, plumbed, wired, or put into service cannot be returned. We refund the product cost minus the 25% restocking fee and the return shipping cost.

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we will send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process it. If it has been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still do not see it, contact us at support@supplyza.com and we will look into it immediately.

7. Restocking Fees

Change-of-mind returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. There is no restocking fee (0%) for defective, damaged, or incorrect items, and we cover the return shipping on those.

Product Description

The Hoshizaki KM-161BWJ is a self-contained crescent cube ice maker with the storage bin already built in. It makes 157 pounds of ice in 24 hours and holds 78 pounds of it, all inside a cabinet a little under 24 inches wide and 39 inches tall — small enough for a bar back, a break room, or a healthcare floor where a modular head and separate bin would not fit.

One cabinet, no bin sizing exercise

Buying a modular head means also choosing a bin, matching adapters and finding floor space for both. This unit removes that step. The 2.6 cubic foot bin is integral, the drain and water connections are single-point, and the whole thing rolls into a 23-3/4 inch opening. It is also ADA compliant, which matters in schools, clinics and public-facing service areas where reach height is regulated.

Water-cooled in a small footprint

Water-cooled condensing is unusual at this size and it is the reason to pick this model over its air-cooled sibling. Because heat leaves through the water line rather than out the side of the cabinet, the machine can sit in a recessed cabinet or a warm, poorly ventilated room and still hit rated production. Hoshizaki rates it at 23.9 gallons of potable water per 100 pounds of ice at 90/70 conditions, so check that a floor drain and a supply are already nearby before specifying it.

Crescent cube ice

The crescent shape packs densely, resists bridging in the glass and drains cleanly, which is why it is the standard in beverage service. The R-134a circuit and 115V cord-and-plug connection keep installation to a standard NEMA 5-15 receptacle.
