Product Description

The Hoshizaki KM-1301SAJ-E is the 50Hz export build of the 48-inch stackable air-cooled Crescent Cuber, producing 624 kilograms of ice per 24 hours on 220-240V single phase. The -E suffix denotes the export electrical package; on a 60Hz North American supply the standard KM-1301SAJ is the correct model. Confirm the site's electrical service before ordering — this is the single most consequential detail on the SKU.

Stackable head for capacity growth

At 695 mm tall the cabinet is deliberately short so a second identical head can sit on top of it, doubling site output on the same footprint and the same bin line. For an operation that expects demand to rise but has no additional floor to give, that vertical path is a materially different plan than replacing the machine. Bins are purchased separately, with the factory listing the B-800 through the B-1650.

Crescent cube with KMEdge evaporators

Crescent ice interlocks loosely rather than packing into a block, so it pours from a bin and moves through a scoop cleanly instead of bridging solid in storage. Hoshizaki's double-sided KMEdge stainless evaporators harvest from both faces to shorten the cycle, holding energy use to 4.52 kWh per 100 pounds. Because this is an export-electrical variant, Hoshizaki directs warranty questions to the factory rather than publishing standard North American terms.
