Product Description

The Hoshizaki IM-544SAK is a 44-inch modular square cube machine producing 453 pounds of Hoshizaki's 1by1 cube per day. The IM process forms each cube in its own cell rather than freezing and fracturing a slab, so the result is a clear, uniform, square cube that reads as intentional in a glass — the reason hotels, bars and upscale dining rooms specify IM over a conventional crescent or half-dice cuber.

Stackable to three times the output

The headline feature is vertical expansion. A single IM-544SAK on a bin covers 453 pounds a day; stack a second and a third head on the same footprint and the same bin line and the site reaches roughly 1,350 pounds without consuming any additional floor area. For operators who cannot widen a machine wall but expect demand to grow, that is a genuinely different planning path than replacing the machine outright. The cabinet is only 21-3/4 inches tall to make the stack work; the bin — the B-700SF is the factory reference — is purchased separately.

R290 natural refrigerant

The IM-544SAK runs 4.9 ounces of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant instead of an HFC charge, carrying Hoshizaki's Natural Refrigerant designation alongside AHRI Standard 810, NSF and UL Health Effects certification. At 5.77 kWh per 100 pounds it is efficient for a machine forming individual cubes, and the refrigerant choice keeps it clear of the phase-down rules tightening around commercial ice equipment.
