Product Description

The HCD-1000B is a 48 inch ice bagging system that turns a production ice machine into a packaged-ice operation. Ice drops into the insulated storage body and is bagged on demand, so an operation selling or distributing bagged ice can work from the same machine that supplies the bar or the kitchen.

Bagging Throughput and Storage

Storage is the constraint on any bagging operation, and this unit carries 1078 lbs. That buffer lets bagging happen in scheduled runs rather than continuously, which is how most convenience stores, marinas and beverage distributors actually work: fill overnight, bag in the morning.

Cabinet and Sanitation

The exterior is stainless steel, sized at 48 inches wide, 36 deep and 71 tall. The unit is ETL Sanitation Listed, which is the listing that matters when the ice being bagged is sold for consumption.

Icemaker Pairing

This is a storage and bagging body, not an icemaker. It is designed to sit beneath a compatible Hoshizaki modular ice machine, which is ordered separately and sized to the daily bagging volume.
