Product Description

The Hoshizaki FS-1501MLJ-C is the high-capacity member of the Serenity Series, producing 1,386 pounds of medium cubelet ice per 24 hours. It is built for high-traffic beverage operations — hospital cafeterias, stadium concourses, large convenience formats — that need close to three-quarters of a ton of nugget ice a day at a dispenser located where customers and staff actually are.

Remote-only design, quiet at the point of service

Everything that makes noise and rejects heat lives at an SRC remote condenser outdoors. What remains indoors is a 30-inch head carrying only 3.5 ounces of refrigerant, drawing 10.1 amps, with the 115V supply fed from the 230V remote condenser so the indoor rough-in stays simple. That is the entire premise of the Serenity platform: capacity of this size normally forces a machine into a back room, and this one does not have to go there.

Medium cubelet ice, produced continuously

The FS-1501MLJ-C makes a medium-size cubelet — compressed flake that is chewable, chills a drink immediately because of its surface area, and melts slowly enough not to dilute it. Production is continuous through an auger instead of batch-harvested off an evaporator plate, so the machine holds output through an extended peak rather than cycling. Advanced CleanCycle24 flushes the water system automatically every day to slow scale build-up, and the greaseless bearing auger eliminates lubrication from routine service.
