Product Description

The F-2001MRJZ3 is the three-phase, remote-cooled flaker at the top of Hoshizaki's 30 inch modular range, producing up to 2,098 lbs of flake ice per 24 hours. It replaces the F-2001MRJ3 and pairs with a URC-series remote condensing unit.

Three-Phase Supply

The trailing 3 in the model number is the important part: this machine requires 208-230v three-phase power, four-wire including ground, hardwired at site. It draws 18.1 amps. If the building has three-phase service the balanced load is easier on the supply than the single-phase alternatives at this output; if it does not, this is the wrong model and the single-phase machines in the range are the fallback.

Flake Ice at 2,098 lbs a Day

This is production-scale flake for seafood houses, food processing and large supermarket programs. Flake packs around irregular product and pulls heat out faster than any cube, and at this output a single head can serve a full retail case plus back-of-house chilling.

Remote Condensing and Maintenance

With the condenser outside, none of the substantial heat this machine rejects stays in the room. Advanced CleanCycle24 handles the automatic cleaning interval and the auger runs greaseless bearings, which is what keeps a machine at this duty inside a reasonable service schedule.
