Hoshizaki F-2001MLJ 30 inch remote low-side modular flake ice machine

Product Description

The F-2001MLJ is the largest flaker in this range, producing 2,280 lbs of flake ice per 24 hours from a 30 inch low-side remote head. Everything except the evaporator and auger lives outside the building, which is what makes an output of this size practical inside an occupied space.

Low-Side Remote Economics

The head draws 6.1 amps on a standard 115v, 15A circuit. A self-contained machine anywhere near this output needs 208-230v and a dedicated feed. Energy consumption measured at the head is 0.6 kWh per 100 lbs — the compressor load sits with the remote condensing unit, ordered separately and specified to the site.

Flake Ice for Processing and Display

At 2,280 lbs a day this is a machine for supermarket seafood programs, food processing, fish houses and large catering operations. Flake conforms around irregular product and exchanges heat faster than any cube form, chilling without bruising.

Refrigerant Flexibility

The system is rated for R-404A, R-407A and R-407F, which gives the installing contractor room to match the remote condensing unit and the site's existing refrigerant policy rather than being locked to one option.
