Product Description

The F-1002MRJZ-C is the cubelet version of Hoshizaki's 22 inch remote-cooled modular auger machine, making up to 821 lbs of nugget-style ice per 24 hours. It shares the chassis, the electrical draw and the remote condenser requirement of the flake model, and differs in what comes out of the evaporator.

Cubelet Instead of Flake

Cubelet is compressed flake: soft enough to chew, dense enough to survive in a drink. It is the ice that drives repeat traffic in soda fountains, drive-thrus and healthcare, and the one customers ask for by name. Choosing the -C over the plain F-1002MRJZ costs roughly 86 lbs of daily output for that difference in ice form.

Remote Condenser

The head connects to a URC-series remote condensing unit outside the building. Heat and compressor noise leave the room, which matters most when the machine sits behind a bar or in a space that is already thermally loaded.

CleanCycle24 and Auger Service

An automatic cleaning cycle runs on a 24 hour interval and the auger uses greaseless bearings. Between them they remove the two maintenance tasks that most often get skipped on nugget machines and then turn into a service call.
