Product Description

The Hoshizaki DD80 is a three-section back bar direct draw cooler with 28.74 cubic feet of keg storage behind solid doors. At 80 inches wide it steps past the point where most bars would otherwise move to a remote keg room, carrying four half barrels or a large small-format rotation directly under the taps.

Keg Capacity Across Three Sections

The cabinet accepts four 1/2 barrels, ten slim 1/4 barrels, fourteen 1/6 barrels, or combinations of those formats. Three separate sections mean the load can be split deliberately, with volume house kegs in one bay and a rotating craft selection in the others, rather than working around a single shared cavity.

Direct Draw at Scale

The appeal of a cabinet this size is that it delivers walk-in-scale keg capacity while keeping the beer path short. Kegs sit directly beneath the towers, so there is no long trunk line to balance, no glycol chiller to maintain, and no separate cooled room to build out and power.

Side-Mount Refrigeration and R290

Refrigeration is side-mounted and front-breathing, so the unit installs flush in a back bar run without rear service clearance despite its width. It runs on R290 natural hydrocarbon refrigerant and draws only 2.5 amps on a standard 115V circuit through a 5-15P plug with an 8-foot cord.
