Product Description

The Hoshizaki DD69 is a two-section back bar direct draw cooler with 21.8 cubic feet of keg storage behind solid doors. The extra ten inches of width over the DD59 buy meaningful interior room, letting the cabinet carry a deeper rotating keg list without stepping up to a three-section box.

Keg Capacity

The DD69 holds three 1/2 barrels, and the same interior takes eight slim 1/4 barrels, twelve 1/6 barrels, or mixed combinations of those formats. Small-format capacity is where this size earns its place: twelve sixtels is a substantial craft rotation to keep cold and on tap out of a single 69.5-inch cabinet.

Direct Draw with Off-Cycle Defrost

Kegs sit directly beneath the towers, so the beer path to the faucet stays short and the system avoids the line balancing and glycol chilling a remote keg room requires. Defrost is automatic on the off cycle, so there is no defrost heater to add heat load or an electric defrost cycle to schedule around service.

Side-Mount Refrigeration and R290

The refrigeration deck is side-mounted and front-breathing, which lets the cabinet be built flush into a continuous back bar run with no rear service clearance. The system uses R290 natural hydrocarbon refrigerant and draws 2.5 amps from a standard 115V circuit through a 5-15P plug on an 8-foot cord.
