Hoshizaki CR110B-L Steelheart Series refrigerated chef base with four stainless drawers and left condenser

Product Description

The Hoshizaki CR110B-L is the left-condenser configuration of the Steelheart Series 110-1/2 inch refrigerated chef base, with four stainless steel drawers and 22.78 cubic feet of cold storage under a continuous equipment top.

Left Condenser for the Opposite Hand of the Line

This model is mechanically identical to the CR110B except that the condenser sits on the left. That single difference determines where the unit can go: a chef base backed into a corner or butted against neighbouring equipment on its condenser side will recirculate its own hot discharge air and run warm. Choosing the hand that puts the coil toward open floor is the difference between a base that holds temperature on a hot line and one that struggles.

Refrigerated Drawers Under the Cooking Battery

Four stainless drawers put protein and prep directly beneath the griddles or fryers they feed, so the cook opens a drawer at waist height instead of leaving the line for a reach-in. Across 110-1/2 inches the top carries a full equipment battery on one uninterrupted surface.

ENERGY STAR Qualified, 2.25 kWh per Day

The unit is ENERGY STAR qualified with a published consumption of 2.25 kWh per day and is charged with R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with very low global warming potential. It draws 3 amps on a 115-volt circuit with a 10-foot cord, protected by a maximum 15-amp fuse or HACR breaker.
