What is your Return Policy?

At Supplyza, we want every customer to shop with confidence. Here is exactly how returns work.

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. We are unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Arranges the Return, and Who Pays

We arrange every return. Contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization and we will email you a prepaid parcel label, or — for large equipment that shipped by LTL freight — book the pickup and send you a Bill of Lading. Please do not book your own carrier or buy your own postage; we cannot reimburse shipping we did not book.
Damaged, defective, or the wrong item: we pay the return shipping in full, parcel or freight. No restocking fee.
Changed your mind: the actual return shipping cost is deducted from your refund, along with the 25% restocking fee. We quote that cost to you in writing when we issue your RMA, before anything is booked, and you can cancel the return at no cost up to that point.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We will arrange and pay for the return, and once the item is back and inspected we will issue either a full refund or a replacement, including any original shipping costs.

4. Freight Deliveries — Inspect Before You Sign

Large equipment is delivered by appointment and you will be asked to sign for it. Note any visible damage or shortage on the driver's delivery receipt before you sign it, photograph the crate and the item, and contact us within 1 business day. Damage you only discover after uncrating must be reported within 5 business days of delivery, because freight carriers set their own concealed-damage claim deadlines. Please call us at +1-877-731-7972 before refusing a shipment — in most cases we can resolve it faster if you accept the delivery with the damage noted.

5. Changed Your Mind?

You can return the item within 30 days as long as it is unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. Freight items must go back on their original pallet or in their original crate with the bracing reinstalled. Equipment that has been installed, plumbed, wired, or put into service cannot be returned. We refund the product cost minus the 25% restocking fee and the return shipping cost.

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we will send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process it. If it has been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still do not see it, contact us at support@supplyza.com and we will look into it immediately.

7. Restocking Fees

Change-of-mind returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. There is no restocking fee (0%) for defective, damaged, or incorrect items, and we cover the return shipping on those.

Product Description

The Hoshizaki C-80BAK is a self-contained undercounter cubelet ice machine producing up to 92 pounds of ice per 24 hours with 27 pounds of built-in storage, in a cabinet under 15 inches wide and under 34 inches tall.

Cubelet Ice and Who Asks For It

Cubelet is compressed flake ice: soft, chewable, and it displaces liquid far better than a cube because the small irregular pieces pack around whatever they surround. Healthcare buys it because patients can chew it safely. Beverage operations buy it because it chills a drink almost instantly and gives fountain sodas the texture people specifically come back for. It is a completely different product from a cuber, and if cubelet is what your operation wants, a cube machine is not a substitute.

Efficiency and Water Use

This is an ENERGY STAR qualified machine running on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with very low global warming potential. It uses 8.5 kWh per 100 pounds of ice at 90°F/70°F — half the consumption of the R-134a C-80BAJ it replaces — and only 12 gallons of potable water per 100 pounds, which is remarkably low; the flaker mechanism freezes nearly all the water it takes in rather than purging a portion like a cuber does. Current draw is 2.8 amps on a standard 115V outlet.

Built-In Installation

Air enters and exits at the front, so the machine can sit flush between cabinets with no side or rear ventilation clearance — the requirement for a genuine built-in. It ships with a 6-foot cord and NEMA 5-15 plug and is UL approved for outdoor use, which opens up patio bars and pool decks.
