Hoshizaki BB80 three-section back bar refrigerator with solid doors

Product Description

The Hoshizaki BB80 is a three-section back bar refrigerator, 80 inches wide with 28.74 cubic feet of interior space holding approximately 1,092 twelve-ounce cans behind solid doors. It is the largest solid-door cabinet in the standard BB run before the 95-inch models.

Three Sections Instead of Two

The third section is the real difference from the 69-inch models. It gives a bar three separately organised zones — commonly one per product family, or one dedicated to a single high-volume label — so bartenders reach into a predictable door rather than hunting across a wide two-door cabinet. Each section stores tall boys three cans high.

Front-Breathing Airflow and Side-Mount Refrigeration

The refrigeration system is side-mounted and breathes from the front, which means the cabinet can be built into a back bar run with solid walls or millwork close on both sides without starving the condenser. That matters at 80 inches, where the unit is usually surrounded rather than free-standing, and it keeps the coil out of the floor-level spill zone.

R290 Refrigerant on a Standard Circuit

Despite the size, the BB80 draws only 2.5 amps and plugs into an ordinary 115-volt NEMA 5-15 receptacle with the supplied 8-foot cord. It is charged with R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with very low global warming potential.
