What is your Return Policy?

At Supplyza, we want every customer to shop with confidence. Here is exactly how returns work.

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. We are unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Arranges the Return, and Who Pays

We arrange every return. Contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization and we will email you a prepaid parcel label, or — for large equipment that shipped by LTL freight — book the pickup and send you a Bill of Lading. Please do not book your own carrier or buy your own postage; we cannot reimburse shipping we did not book.
Damaged, defective, or the wrong item: we pay the return shipping in full, parcel or freight. No restocking fee.
Changed your mind: the actual return shipping cost is deducted from your refund, along with the 25% restocking fee. We quote that cost to you in writing when we issue your RMA, before anything is booked, and you can cancel the return at no cost up to that point.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We will arrange and pay for the return, and once the item is back and inspected we will issue either a full refund or a replacement, including any original shipping costs.

4. Freight Deliveries — Inspect Before You Sign

Large equipment is delivered by appointment and you will be asked to sign for it. Note any visible damage or shortage on the driver's delivery receipt before you sign it, photograph the crate and the item, and contact us within 1 business day. Damage you only discover after uncrating must be reported within 5 business days of delivery, because freight carriers set their own concealed-damage claim deadlines. Please call us at +1-877-731-7972 before refusing a shipment — in most cases we can resolve it faster if you accept the delivery with the damage noted.

5. Changed Your Mind?

You can return the item within 30 days as long as it is unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. Freight items must go back on their original pallet or in their original crate with the bracing reinstalled. Equipment that has been installed, plumbed, wired, or put into service cannot be returned. We refund the product cost minus the 25% restocking fee and the return shipping cost.

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we will send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process it. If it has been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still do not see it, contact us at support@supplyza.com and we will look into it immediately.

7. Restocking Fees

Change-of-mind returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. There is no restocking fee (0%) for defective, damaged, or incorrect items, and we cover the return shipping on those.

Product Description

The Hoshizaki AM-50BAK-AD is the ADA-compliant-height version of Hoshizaki's compact undercounter top hat cuber. It makes up to 54 pounds of ice per 24 hours, stores 27 pounds in its own bin, and stands 31-1/2 inches tall instead of the standard model's 33-1/2.

Why the ADA Height Matters

Two inches decides whether this machine can go under a 34-inch accessible counter. In hotels, hospitals, schools, government buildings and any public accommodation subject to ADA scoping, that is not a preference — it is the difference between a compliant installation and a failed inspection. Everything else about the machine matches the standard AM-50BAK: same width, same depth, same output, same 27-pound bin.

R290 and a 2-Amp Draw

The machine runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with very low global warming potential, and uses 9 kWh per 100 pounds of ice at 90°F/70°F — roughly half the consumption of the R-134a AM-50BAJ-AD it replaces. It draws 2.0 amps and plugs into an ordinary 115V, 15-amp outlet with a 6-foot cord and NEMA 5-15 plug, so no dedicated circuit or hardwiring is required.

Built-In Installation and Ice

Air enters and exits at the front, so the cabinet can sit flush between millwork with no side or rear ventilation clearance. It is UL approved for outdoor use as well, which suits patio bars and pool service points. Ice is the top hat cube — small, clear, hard and slow-melting, the shape usually specified where drink presentation matters.
